TSA Pre-Check Enrollment Center Coming to BZN in September

Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is pleased to announce that passengers and airport visitors will have the opportunity to enroll in the TSA Pre✓® program Monday, September 12, 2016 through Friday, September 16, 2016 and Monday, September 19 through Friday, September 23, 2016!

As you may have seen in the news, TSA has expanded participation in the TSA Pre✓® program. This program allows participating flyers to experience a more efficient airport screening process by leaving on their shoes, light jackets and belts and leaving laptops and compliant liquids in carry-on bags. Over 150 airports have dedicated TSA Pre✓® lanes and 12 airlines participate in the program including Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways and Virgin America.

To participate in this event, please pre-enroll ahead of time by simply going to:

Fill out steps 1 through 7, Step 8, type in your location “Bozeman, MT” Make sure you are choosing “Belgrade, MT-Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport” click Next at the bottom of the screen, Step 9 select your appointment time (the first available shows, you can use the drop down to choose a different date and/or time.)

IMPORTANT! You will need to bring your documentation proving identity and citizenship status! Please visit for a complete list of required documents. If you have a U.S. passport, that is all you need for ID! You will finish the process onsite at the airport by providing your fingerprints for a background check.

The application fee is $85 and can be paid by credit card, money order, company check, or certified/cashier's check. Cash and personal checks are not accepted.

After completing enrollment, successful applicants will receive a Known Traveler Number (KTN) via U.S. mail within 45 days that is valid for 5 years. The enrollee should enter the provided KTN in the ‘Known Traveler Number’ field when booking travel reservations. The KTN also can be added when booking reservations online via a participating airline website, via phone call to the airline reservation center, or with the travel management company making reservations. Additionally, the KTN can be entered in participating airline frequent flyer profiles, where it will be stored for future reservations.

Established in 1972, the function of the Gallatin Airport Authority is to plan for, provide, operate and safely maintain an aviation facility adequate to the needs of the flying public in the Yellowstone region and to keep it self-sustaining.
