B Concourse Market Place
(January 20, 2023) Construction of the
new B Concourse Market Place is underway at BZN. The Market Place will be
located inside security between gates B2 and B3. With another year of
record-breaking passenger growth behind us, BZN anticipates this Market Place to
be in strong demand.
When the B Concourse opened in 2020, a 4,000 sq ft section
of the expansion was partitioned off for future use. Immediate demand for
accessory food and retail zones increased with the addition of Southwest
Airlines service. The Copper Horse Restaurant and Ross Peak Grill, BZN’s second
full-service restaurant, provide passengers with comforting meals before
catching their flights. The Market Place will be tailored for travelers who
have less time and might be seeking a more price conscious selection.
With that goal in mind, the Market Place will have two main
sections: seating and concessions. Travelers will have access to self-serve
food, beverage, and retail. Counter tops will line the concourse with slated
partitions to provide visibility. Seating will accommodate 65 people and not be
restricted for restaurant use only.
Construction
will include continued use of natural material, such as wood, to compliment the
warm lodge-like feel of the terminal. We anticipate Market Place construction
to be completed by mid-year.
