President, Chief Executive Officer

Brian Sprenger, A.A.E.

Brian Sprenger, A.A.E.
Brian was born in Denver, Colorado and moved to Bozeman with his parents and brother in 1974. He attended Bozeman schools and graduated from Montana State University in 1989 with a degree in Business Management. He became an Accredited Airport Executive in 2004.

Brian began "hanging" out at airports at a very young age with his father, Al who was a manager with the original Frontier Airlines. His mother, Darlene was a stewardess (politically correct at the time) also with the original Frontier Airlines. Brian's "official" aviation career began at Gallatin Field in 1983 cleaning airliners. In 1985, Brian began a 14 year career with Northwest Airlines as a Customer Service Agent in Bozeman, Montana and Honolulu, Hawaii, Station Manager in Kalispell Montana and Manager of Education Programs at the airline's headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota until 1999. Brian returned to Bozeman in 1999 as the Assistant Airport Director at Bozeman Yellowstone Int'l Airport and was appointed the Airport Director (Now President and Chief Executive Officer) in 2009.

Brian and his wife Phronsie have four adult children. He is a current member and past President of the Montana Airport Manager's Association. He is also a past board chair of the Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bozeman Convention and Visitor's Bureau and former member of the Governor's Tourism Advisory Council.  Currently, Brian is a member and past president of the Northwest Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives and Board Member for the Northern Rocky Mountain Economic Development District.
