Jake Simpson, C.M.

Jake is a born and raised Alaskan and graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aviation Management and Associates in Air Traffic Control. 

Jake has more than 15 years in the industry, starting as an intern with the Arapahoe County Public Airport Authority (APA) at Centennial Airport before becoming a full-time member of the staff.   After Centennial, Jake spent more than 11 years at Denver International Airport (DEN) as an Assistant Airport Operations Manager, Airport Operations Manager and most recently helped create and staff the Emergency Operation Center at DEN as an Airport Emergency Operations Manager.  Jake is also a Certified Member with the American Association of Airport Executives.

In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time in the backcountry of Montana hunting and fishing. When he isn’t exploring, he is spending time with his wife Chelsea and their two dogs, Titan and Grizzly.
